30、novels. 這二部小說我并不都喜歡。拓展 如要表示全部否定則應(yīng)用neither/none/no one/nobody/nothing nowhere.如None of them go/goes in for sports 他們都不喜歡運(yùn)動(dòng)。You can get this kind of vegetables nowhere 在哪里你也買不到這種蔬菜。語(yǔ)法 動(dòng)名詞(Gerunds)動(dòng)名詞在句中可作主語(yǔ)、表語(yǔ)、定語(yǔ)和賓語(yǔ)。具體用法如下:主語(yǔ) Teaching English at middle school is my full-time job. It's a waste of t
31、ime arguing with him.注釋:1 不定式和動(dòng)名詞都可用作句子的主語(yǔ),含義基本一樣。只是表示具體、特指的動(dòng)作時(shí),用不定式更多見:表示抽象、泛指的動(dòng)作時(shí),用動(dòng)名詞更多見。2 It is no use/ no good/a waste of time doing sth做某事沒有用處、沒有好處、是浪費(fèi)時(shí)間。在該結(jié)構(gòu)中應(yīng)用動(dòng)名詞作主語(yǔ)。表語(yǔ) Their job is building houses. His hobby is painting.注釋:1 不定式和動(dòng)名詞作表語(yǔ)含義基本一樣。具體、特指的事情多用不定式,習(xí)慣、泛指的事情多用動(dòng)名詞。2 動(dòng)名詞作表語(yǔ)相當(dāng)于名詞,主語(yǔ)和表語(yǔ)的位
32、置可以互換,而現(xiàn)在分詞作表語(yǔ)相當(dāng)于形容詞,不可以與主語(yǔ)調(diào)換位置。如:My job is teaching English=Teaching English is my job My job is interestingInteresting is my job.定語(yǔ) a sleeping car 臥車 working method 工作方法 walking stick 手杖注釋: 動(dòng)名詞作定語(yǔ)主要是起分類作用,不表示動(dòng)作。賓語(yǔ) The doctor advised taking more exercise. She left without telling me. He insisted on
33、 doing the same experiment hundreds of times.注釋:有些以to結(jié)尾的短語(yǔ),to為介詞,后面要用動(dòng)名詞。devote oneself to,get down to,lead to,stick to,look forward to,see to,object to,turn to,point to,give one's mind to,pay attention to,be used to.動(dòng)名詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)His coming back make her happy 他回來了使她很高興The doctor insisted on his pati
34、ent's staying in bed 醫(yī)生堅(jiān)持要他的病人躺在床上。注釋: “名詞所有格或形容詞性物主代詞+動(dòng)名詞”構(gòu)成動(dòng)名詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)。在這個(gè)結(jié)構(gòu)中名詞所有格或形容詞性物主代詞是邏輯上的主語(yǔ)。動(dòng)名詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)在句中可作主語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)等。在非正式英語(yǔ)中或在句中作賓語(yǔ)時(shí),可以用名詞的普通格或人稱代詞的賓格。動(dòng)名詞的時(shí)態(tài)Edith denied having been there. I remember having locked the door.注釋:當(dāng)動(dòng)名詞表示的動(dòng)作發(fā)生在謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)作之前時(shí),要用動(dòng)名詞的完成時(shí)。動(dòng)名詞的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)He narrowed escaped being run o
