When someone has deeply hurt you, it can be extremely difficult to let go of your anger. _1_ In?deed, research has shown that people who forgive report more energy, better appetite and better sleep patterns. “People who forg
2、ive show less anger and more hopefulness, says Dr. Freder?ic Luskin, who wrote the book Forgive for Good. So how do you start the healing? Try following these steps:Calm yourself. Take a couple of breaths and think of some?thing that gives you pleasure: a beautiful sce

So if you wait for people to apologize, you could be waiting a very long time. Keep in mind that forgiveness does not necessarily mean coming to ter
4、ms with the person who upsets you or forgiving his or her action after your quarrel._3_ Mentally going over your hurt gives power to the person who brought you pain. “Instead, learn to look for the love, beauty and kindness around you. Luskin says._4_ If you attach great importance to that person, y
5、ou may realize that he or she was acting out of ignorance, fear and even love. To gain others stand, you may want to write a letter to yourself from your offenders point of view._5_ Research has shown that people who forgive make a good show of more energy, better appetite and better sleeping patter
6、ns.Dont forget to forgive yourself. “For some people, forgiving themselves is the biggest challenge." Luskin says, “but it can rob you of your self-confidence if you dont do it.A. Many times the person who hurt you may never think of apologizing.B. Break away from the influence of your offender
7、 on you early.C. But forgiveness is possible and it can be surprisingly helpful to your physical and mental health.D. Try to see things from the other persons stand.E. The psychologists changed the working conditions for one group twice but left the other group alone. They were surprised to find that productivity increased on both occasion

It had increased their motivation and so they had worked harder. In other words, if you take an interest in others, they will want to please you and you will have go

After Martin Luther King, Jr was killed in 1960s, a teacher, Jane Elliott, living in an all- white town decided to help her class of young children understand why the Civil Rights Movement had been necessary in America.She divided the class into two groups: one with blue
12、eyes and other with brown eyes. Other eye colors such as hazel or green were excluded from his exercise. Then she told the class that brown-eyed people were cleverer than blue-eyed ones because of an agent化學(xué)作用 for brown color found in their blood. Blue-eyed people were stupid, lazy and not to be tru
13、sted. Jane Elliott did not need to say any more. The brown-eyed students quickly got used to their new role as the leaders of the class. The blue-eyed students became quiet and withdrawn. Then she discovered something very interesting. Four poor brown-eyed readers began to read fluently in a way the
14、y had never done before. _4_. So if you want to be successful and happy, take an interest in others whether they are your classmates or workmates.
