Pointtothewordforchickenandsay,“TheEnglishwordforthisfoodischicken.〞WritetheEnglishwordnexttothewordyouhavealreadywritten.Modelthewordforthechildrenandhavethemrepeatitafteryou.

Repeattheprocedureforvegetables.

Nowexplainthemeaningofthewordfood.Writethewordontheboard.Readthewordaloudandhavethechildrenrepeatitafteryou.PresenttheflashcardsforthisUnit.Holduptheflashcardfor
