上文中的actuary就是精算師的意思,這個(gè)詞是不是很眼熟?想到了actually對(duì)吧?其實(shí)actuary在拉丁語中意為“經(jīng)營”,精算師的工作就是對(duì)可能帶來風(fēng)險(xiǎn)的事件發(fā)生的幾率和后果進(jìn)行評(píng)測(cè),從而盡量把損失降至最低。
