ThispublicationcoverstheoperationoftheaeronauticalversionoftheDPI610PortablePressureCalibratorandshouldbereadinconjunctionwithDruckPublicationNo.K213.
Thefollowingkeysymbolsareusedintheprocedurediagramswhichfollowandarerepeatedhere(fromK213),toallowthissupplementtostandalone.Pages1to7ofK213detailtheoperatorcontrolsandgeneralinformationwhicharealsorelevanttotheAeroOptionoftheDPI610PressureCalibrator.
Shadedcursorkeysindicatethatacombinationofthesefourkeys,Up,Down,LeftandRightshouldbeusedto(e.g.)enteranalphanumericvalueortoselectafunction.

Note:WhentheAEROtaskisselected,thedisplayflashesifthevoltageorcurrentinput
overrangesby110%oftheabovemaximumvalues.Thepressuredisplayflashesataltitudesbelow-3000ftandabove50,000ftoratairspeedsgreaterthan600knots,dependinguponthemodeselected.

Introduction
Thisspecial,2barabsolute(59inHgabsolute)versionoftheDPI610providesmanualgenerationofpressureandvacuumfortestingofaircraftPitotandStaticsystems.Ithasaspecialpneumaticmanifoldandoutputportassembly,theoutputofthepumpbeingsuitablyregulatedtopreventoverpressure/vacuumfrombeingappliedtotheaircraft’sinstruments.Theventline,controlledbythereleasevalve,isalsothrottledtoallowacontrolledventrateinordertoprotecttheaircraft’ssystemsandinstruments.
Asecond,manualletdownvalve,fitteddirectlytotheoutputport,allowsthesystemtobemanuallyvented(returnedtogroundlevel)bytheoperatorwhentheoutputisatasafeoperationalleveli.e.<1500ft.FigureB1showsthearrangementoftheinstrument.TheAeronauticaloptionisconfiguredasaspecialtaskandcanbeaccessedonlyfromtheTASKmenu.AllotherfunctionsandtasksoftheDPI610areavailableontheAeronauticalversion.
