Inthisslide,Ihavediscussedtwokeychallengesformodernmaskfracturing,whichareoverlappingshotsande-beamproximityeffect.

Next,Iwillsummarizepreviousworks.Slide5Script:Toevaluatethesuboptimalityofmaskfracturingheuristics,weproposetwomethodologies.First,wehavedevelopedanILP-basedmethod.Thismethodgivestightlowerandupperboundsofshotcountforanygivenmaskshape.However,thismethodrequiresconsiderablecomputationaleffort.Second,weproposeamethodtoconstructbenchmarkmaskshapeswithknownoptimalshotcount.Notethatinthisworkweconsideroverlappingshotsande-beamproximityeffect.Inthefollowingdiscussion,Iwillshowmoredetailsaboutthetwomethodologies.Itshowssuboptimalityofastate-ofartprototype
