※showgotoashow去看展覽/演出/電影averypopulartelevisionshowgoodshow一個(gè)非常受歡迎的電視節(jié)目goodshow做的好…;makeagoodshow炫耀stealtheshow走紅、配角比主角搶鏡頭showbusiness演藝界anything用于肯定句時(shí)表示“無論什么”、“任何事情”,toseeafreeshow表示目的,也可以用for+名詞形式:

eg:Hewilldoanythingforthechild.為了這孩子,他干什么都愿意。2.WhenthenewsgotroundthatacomedyshowwouldbepresentedatourlocalcinemabytheP.andU.BirdSeedCompany,weallrushedtoseeit.※when引導(dǎo)的這個(gè)時(shí)間狀語從句中含有一個(gè)同位語從句,即thenewsthat...。由于that引導(dǎo)的同位語從句較長,便與它所修飾的news隔開了,放在謂語動(dòng)詞之后,以免句子頭重腳輕。同位語從句中用了被動(dòng)語態(tài)的過去將來時(shí)形式?!鵪etround不脛而走、傳遍gettheroundof(消息)傳開eg:Thenewsgottheroundoftheschool.這一消息傳遍了整個(gè)學(xué)校?!鵵ushto/into倉促行動(dòng)、沖、冒冒失失地做某事eg:Don’trushtoconclusions.不要急于下結(jié)論。eg:Itiswrongrushintomarriage.不要倉促完婚。eg:Sherushedintotheroom.她沖進(jìn)了房間。eg:Theyrushedouttowardthepavilion.他們沖了出去奔向亭子。eg:Don'trush。takeyourtime.別急急忙忙的,慢慢來。

queue也可以作名詞,表示按順序等待的人、車等的“行列”、“隊(duì)”:eg:Therewasalongqueueoutsidethecinema電影院門外已經(jīng)排成了長隊(duì).eg:There'salongqueue/lineofpeoplewaitingforthebus.人們排著長隊(duì)等公共汽車。

eg:We'dbetterjointhequeuefortickets.我們最好加入買票的隊(duì)伍。row隊(duì)伍eg:IenjoyedtheperformancebecauseIhadaverygoodseatinthefifthrow.我可以好好欣賞表演,因?yàn)樵诘谖迮诺淖缓芎谩?.Unfortunately,theshowwasoneofthedullestwehaveeverseen.※主語+be+oneofthe+最高級(jí)+復(fù)數(shù)名詞+in/of,表示"最……的……之一"。eg:TheYellowRiverisoneofthelongestriversinChina.黃河是中國最長的河流之一。eg:ThebookisoneofthemostinterestingIhaveeverread.這是我看過的最有趣的書。5.Thosewhofailedtogetinneednothavefeltdisappointed,asmanyoftheartisteswhoshouldhaveappeareddidnotcome.※failtodo未能(做)...,沒能(做)...eg:Thecarfailedtostopattheredlight.遇到紅燈卻沒有停車。eg:Ifailtoseethereason.我不懂原因。eg:Neverfailtowritetome.別忘記給我寫信?!鵱eednothavefeltdisappointed本來沒有必要感到失望must+have+過去分詞表示對(duì)過去發(fā)生的事進(jìn)行推測(其否定式為can't+have+過去分詞);

need+have+過去分詞表示過去不必做但實(shí)際已做了的事;

should/oughtto+have+過去分詞表示本來應(yīng)該做而實(shí)際未做的事:eg:Hehadfoundfiveemptywhiskybottleswhichtheghostmusthavedrunkthenightbefore.他發(fā)現(xiàn)了5只空的威士忌酒瓶子,這肯定是鬼魂前天晚上喝的。eg:Theexaminermusthavebeenpleasedwithmyperformance.主考人對(duì)我的表現(xiàn)想必是滿意的。eg:Youneedn'thavesaidthat.你沒必要這么說。(實(shí)際已經(jīng)說了)

eg:Youneedn'thavetoldhimaboutmyplans.你本不必把我的打算告訴他。(實(shí)際上已告訴了他)

eg:Heshouldhavegonealongasidestreet.他應(yīng)該走一條小街。(實(shí)際上他走了主要街道)feeldisappointed感到失望※shouldhaveappeared本該出場(但實(shí)際上沒有出場的意思)as因?yàn)?.Theonlyfunnythingsweheardthateveningcamefromtheadvertiseratthebeginningoftheprogram.※funny有趣的1)adj.可笑的、有趣的(同意詞interesting)afunnystory滑稽的故事eg:What’ssofunnyaboutthatjoke
