Unit 10 If you go to the party, youll have a great time! The Third Period Section B (1a1d)Teaching aims(教學目標)1. 能熟練運用條件狀語從句。2. 能談論因果關系。3. 能做出決定是否改做某事。4. 能學會與他人一起分擔自己的問題并爭取表達自己的觀點。Language points(語言點)1要求掌握以下詞匯:1) 名詞 n. agent, teenager,pain, college,education,advice2) 動詞 v. debate 3) 形容詞 adj. important 4) 詞組 be famous, go to college, travel around the world, make a lot of money, get an education(本節(jié)課的重點生詞較少,但是重點詞組的熟練應用要在學生熟練操練句型中鞏固。)2. 要求掌握以下句式:If you join the Lions, youll become a great soccer player. What do you think I should do? Can you give me some advice? I dont think so. I cant agree with you.Difficulties(難點):掌握if+will(主將出現)的句式并合理表達自己的觀點。Teaching steps(教學步驟)1. Warm-up and revision(課堂熱身和復習)(1) Look and say T: Is she happy? S: She looks worried!(通過圖片,引出關鍵詞,主題明確。)(2) Ask and answer(3)T: Tip 1: If you have problems, you can ask others for help. What will happen if I become a soccer player?S: I will be happy/rich .T: What will happen if I dont become a soccer player?S:(通過學生感興趣的生動圖片問答,切合主題,同時導出關鍵詞,演練目標句型,同時出現正反觀點,為后面的辯論埋下伏筆。)2. Work on 1aT: Which of the things below are the most important to you? Circle three things.S:T: Tip 2: Decide what things are the most important to you and talk to your parents about them.(問答后,教師給學生的啟示增加了學習的層次,引發(fā)學生的思考。)3. Work on 1bT: Listen. Look at the list in 1a. Write A before each thing the soccer agent talks about and P before each thing Michaels parents talk about.S:(教師將雙方的觀點分層次展示,為后面的辯論環(huán)節(jié)服務。)4. Work on 1c(1) Listen and complete.T: Listen again. Complete the sentencesS:1. If you join the Lions, _2. If you become a Lion, _3. And if you work really hard, _4. If you become a soccer player, _5. But if I dont do this now, _a. youll be famous.b. Ill never do it.c. youll become a great soccer player.d. youll never go to college.e. youll travel around the world.(此處聽力不會很難,但是教師要引導學生問答并誦讀,自然掌握其中的邏輯關系。)(2) Listen again and finish the sentences.T: Listen again and finish the sentences.S: The agent wants Michael to_. But if I dont do this now, Ill_.(教師先呈現雙方觀點,再引導學生表達給出的理據,為后面的辯論進一步鋪墊。)5. Work on 1dT: Student A is Michael. Student B is his friend. Student B, give Student A advice.S: A: What do you think I should do? Can you give me some advice?B: I think you should go to college.A: But if I go to college, Ill nver become a great soccer player.6. DebateT: Debating rules: You ONLY have 100 seconds! One idea can get one point for your group! You need to use sentences with “if, he”.S: Positive side(正方): Give reasons for becoming a/an Negative side(反方):Give reasons against becoming a/an. T: Tip 3: If you try your best, the future will be in your hands!(作為展示的高潮,,要給學生充分的時間進行準備,教師對于這個環(huán)節(jié)要給學生明確的指導,要四處在學生中進行個別指導,引導學生以小組形式互相合作,集思廣益,同時最后的建議和圖片展示,對學生有情感引導和教育的作用。)7. Ho
