本課時內(nèi)容選高中英語外研社必修三Module4Introduction,Reading&Vocabulary,本課以“Sandstorms”為話題,介紹了亞洲尤其是在中國發(fā)生沙塵暴的情況,并引入了與沙塵暴和環(huán)保有關(guān)的詞匯,目的在于在活動中發(fā)展學(xué)生語言能力,了解環(huán)保知識,同時培養(yǎng)其環(huán)保意識。

本班學(xué)生英語基礎(chǔ)較差,但學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度認真,學(xué)習(xí)熱情高。部分學(xué)生已基本具備在閱讀中獲取細節(jié)信息的能力,少數(shù)學(xué)生能用英語自信地表達觀點。但是多數(shù)學(xué)生在理解和整合知識、邏輯推理和分析論證觀點,以及批判評價方面的能力都比較欠缺。在前面一個模塊的學(xué)習(xí)中,學(xué)生已經(jīng)掌握了一些介紹自然災(zāi)害的詞語和句子,所以表達能力好的同學(xué)可以簡單用英語描述沙塵暴的基本情況。
